We are saddened to hear about the passing of Sir Andrew Grimwade, CBE (1930-2023) at age 92.

Sir Andrew contributed significantly to Victoria’s arts industry as the longest standing Committee member and 10th Chairperson of the Alfred Felton Bequest. Sir Andrew is an Emeritus Trustee, Life Member, and long-serving Former President of Trustees (1976 to 1990) of the National Gallery of Victoria.

Sir Andrew’s commitment to, and passion for, the arts, health and education has left its mark through the countless charitable and for-purpose programs and organisations he championed. His legacy is in their work.
