Adviser/Relationship Team

Our client service team has extensive knowledge of investment management practices and in particular, we understand the unique opportunities and challenges faced by for purpose organisations such as creating sustainable revenue streams. A dedicated relationship manager, is your primary contact at Equity Trustees for any queries or requests for information, and provide ongoing advice and reporting.

Specialist Asset Management Team

Our in-house asset management team comprises specialist Australian Equities and Fixed Income managers supported by research analysts and client portfolio dealer. The team manages tailored investment portfolios for charitable, corporate and private clients and specialise in funds management for tax exempt entities and structures. Our overarching approach is based on long-term considerations rather than short-term fluctuations.

We aim to deliver performance that meets our client’s expectations and risk/reward profile. To achieve this we combine in-house capabilities with the best external domestic and international fund managers that are diversified both across and within asset classes.

We currently provide investment management services on behalf of over 600 NFP clients. Total charitable funds under management is $2.5billion.

We also act as Trustee and investment manager for many well-known, perpetual charitable foundations. For these foundations, we are responsible for providing all Trustee services in partnership with the Co-Trustees, including secretariat, granting strategy development, governance and investment management. 

Ethical and impact-focused investing

Equity Trustees manages a bespoke Charitable Australian Screened Equities fund for values focused clients whose investment policy specifically excludes investments such as in gaming, alcohol, tobacco and defence sectors and companies whose income is sourced from prostitution. 
We currently manage over $300million of FUM on behalf of over 30 clients with specific ethical overlays or exclusions.
