EQT Holdings Limited (ASX: EQT) today announced that Non-Executive Director, Kevin Eley, will retire as a director of the Company at the conclusion of the next Annual General Meeting.
Mr Eley joined the Board in 2011 and was appointed Chair of the Audit Committee in 2014 and has been a Member of the Risk Committee since its inception in 2015.
EQT Chair, Carol Schwartz AO, said: “Kevin’s eagle eye for the detail of the financials and his deep experience in funds management and mergers and acquisitions from his lifelong career in the financial services sector has meant he has made an extraordinary contribution to our Board over the last 12 years as we have stewarded Equity Trustees through significant growth.
“He has been a collaborative fellow director whose warmth and good humour and, combined with his experience and genuine interest in this special company, has enabled him to bring valuable insights and perspectives to the Board table.
“On behalf of the Board, I wish him well and all the best for the future,” Ms Schwartz said.
