Back in August, we announced the acquisition of Australian Executor Trustees (AET). By 1 December the AET company, established in 1880, will become a part of the Equity Trustees group of companies.

The combination of these two heritage specialist trustee brands strengthens our capability for the services we currently provide you out of our Trustee and Wealth Services area.

Service to all Equity Trustees and AET clients and partners will be unchanged and uninterrupted by this acquisition. You may see new faces in our team some months from now – but your current service team remains your key contact and service point.

This development is consistent with our commitment to be the leading trustee in Australia. It means we will have a new presence in SA (the home of AET), and a much larger presence in WA – as well as expanding our presence in QLD and NSW. 

Together with AET, Equity Trustees is confident we can remain the industry benchmark in skills, people, knowledge and client service excellence.
