In 2020, the streets of Melbourne and Geelong will come alive with a spectacular public art event to mark The Royal Children’s Hospital 150th anniversary. Equity Trustees is proud to be principal partner for this exciting new Art Trail – and urges all Victorian artists to consider putting forward a creative submission to be a part of the installation.

There are 100 opportunities to transform the canvas in the form of a ‘UooUoo’, a specially commissioned three-dimensional sculpture by Melbourne artist Alexander Knox.

UooUoo can be transformed using any medium – traditional to new media, fine art to illustrations, graffiti and mosaic. Whatever the art form, artists are invited to add drama, fun and a unique creative flair to the Me and UooUoo Art Trail.

All artists, emerging or established, are encouraged to put forward submissions to have their masterpiece seen and appreciated by hundreds of thousands of Victorians and visitors.

The artist submission portal for Me and Uoouoo: The RCH150 Anniversary Art Trail is now open at  www.uoouoo.org.au.

Submissions close on 31 January 2020 and the successful artists will be commissioned to bring their designs to life in March.
