SIGNIFICANT INVESTOR VISA UPDATE

This information is only relevant to Significant Investor Visa investors who have submitted their Visa applications post 1 July 2015.

WHAT IS THE SIGNIFICANT INVESTOR VISA?

The Australian Government's Significant Investor Visa (SIV) scheme offers an opportunity for high net worth migrant investors to apply for permanent residence. The visa conditions require a minimum investment of AU$5m for four years split across a mandated set of SIV complying investments. 

Investors applying under this Visa will need to prove that the funds in which they are investing are compliant. Equity Trustees has completed the Declaration Form 1413D for applicants applying under the Visa which provides requisite proof of a fund’s complying status.
