The Foundation was established under the Will of the late Mr Henryk Kitaszewski, who passed away on 24 March 2015.  

The Foundation’s mission is to “support students of Polish descent to apply and further their tertiary studies in projects or activities which will support the development of Polish community organisations in Australia”. 

In particular, the Foundation seeks to direct funds to the development and education of young Poles through capacity building for Polish community organisations.

Equity Trustees, together with the Foundation’s Advisory Committee reserve the right to not accept a funding application or only partially fund submitted proposals

2026 FUNDING

• Total grants of $40,000 are available in FY2026.
• Grants of up $20,000 per project are available in FY2026.
• Grant amounts are subject to the discretion of the Trustee and Advisory Committee
