Use the menu above to the left to identify a Program with the appropriate eligibility conditions and area of interest. Bear in mind that it can take 3 to 6 months from initial application to approval and payment of grants.

Lodge an application online

Equity Trustees uses an online application tool which allows you to draft and lodge your submission online. Links to preview and complete application forms appear under the relevant Grant Program pages. Each form includes instructions and contact information for technical support.

Please note that late submissions are not accepted. All rounds close at 11:59pm (Melbourne time) on the closing date.

Assessment process

Submissions are considered by internal staff, external experts and co-trustees, whose recommendations are submitted to the Equity Trustees Board for approval. The time from initial application to Board approval is between 2-4 months.

Acquittal process

Grant recipients are required to submit an acquittal or progress report within 12 months of receiving a grant. Submissions must be made online. To access the form:

• Log in at SmartyGrants
• Click on My Submissions near the top of screen
• Scroll to your successful application and click on the attached acquittal form
