New Compliance Plan Auditor appointed
to service RE business
Following a review of our operations to ensure we support our specialist responsible entity (RE) service offering to the best possible standards, Equity Trustees has appointed a single provider to manage the managed investment scheme (MIS) compliance plan audit program.
The move from multiple providers to a single provider following a tender process was to ensure consistent high quality audit processes as efficiently as possible from a time and cost perspective.
PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC) has been appointed as the MIS compliance plan auditor for a period of three years replacing:
• Ernst & Young
• Grant Thornton Audit Pty Ltd
• KPMG
• Pitcher Partners
Equity Trustees is working with PWC and outgoing compliance plan auditors to make sure the transition is completed.
Equity Trustees is RE for more than 300 funds.
