  • SIV

    Significant Investor Visa

The Significant Investor Visa (SIV) provides an opportunity for people to migrate to Australia whilst benefiting the Australian economy. Under the SIV, high net worth investors must invest A$5m into SIV-complying investments for a minimum of four years before being eligible to apply for permanent residency.

At present, the Australian Government has temporarily suspended the application process for the SIV.  A new complying framework was due to be implemented from 1 July, 2015.  However, confirmation of a starting date and future requirements has not been finalised.

Find out more about the SIV or search for SIV-compliant funds.
