  • Harold Abbott

    The Frances and Harold Abbott Foundation

    The Frances and Harold Abbott Foundation, managed by Equity Trustees, will be awarding grants of between $5,000 and $50,000 on a single year basis, towards projects that serve charitable purposes and are for community benefit in the Bendigo and the surrounding Loddon Mallee region.

    The legacy of well-known Bendigo businessman Harold Athelstane Abbott (pictured), the Foundation came under Equity Trustees’ management following our purchase of the Sandhurst Trusts and Estates business in March 2017. 

    Examples of projects that might be considered would include, but not limited to, projects that:

    • Encourage inclusion and participation of under-represented and marginalised groups;
    • Enhance resourcing, stability and continuity of events and programs being delivered by local not-for-profit organisations;
    • Enhance existing community infrastructure; and
    • Improve legal, health and wellbeing outcomes of the region

    ANZ Community Foundation

    (previously ANZ Staff Foundation)

    The ANZ Community Foundation is funded by regular contributions made by ANZ staff and ANZ. The Foundation aims to support projects run by charitable organisations which offer a direct and tangible benefit to local communities.
