The AFL Player’s Association Player Retirement Account (AFLPA PRA) was created to assist players in their transition into retirement from the game. Contributions made over members’ playing lives accrue with investment earnings to grow the balance of the AFLPA PRA funds. Member benefits are received when their career ends and thereafter depending on the period of service in the game. Any balance after the initial benefit is paid will continue to be invested as per the members investment option.
