Barrister and Company Director. He served 34 years; the last 12 as Chairman. He was a longstanding member of Victorian Bar Council and Chairman of Barristers Chambers. He was also on the Board of Austin Motor Co (Australasia) and Colonial Mutual Life, Group Holdings.
