Chairman from 2003 to 2007. Philip was involved in non–executive roles in both the not-for-profit and corporate sectors. He was Chairman of listed bio-tech research and development company, Anadis Limited and was Director of the listed company, Pro Medicus Limited. His other directorships included Australian National Academy of Music and the Centre for Eye Research Australia Limited. He was a trustee of the Eye Research Foundation, the Ansell Ophthalmology Foundation and The Monash University Accident Research Foundation
