Fees For Estate, Trust & Taxation Services
Please see Fees Schedule below relating to the costs that Equity Trustees charges for services and administration relating to personal estates, trusts, wills and tax.
Please note:
- The fees and commissions set out in the Fees Schedule document apply to new appointments where there has not been a prior agreement reached and recorded in relation to the fees and commissions to apply to the provision of the service.
- Wherever possible we ask to be informed of new/prospective appointments under enduring powers of attorney and wills while the documents are being drafted. This allows us the opportunity to review the drafts and to ensure that the terms of the documents, and the proposed appointment, are suitable from our perspective as proposed executor/attorney.
- Where approached in advance, in many instances we will be prepared to agree to fees on terms more favourable than those published below, having regard to nature and terms of the proposed appointment and associated assets. Where agreed, reference to these fees can be made in the relevant documents, or in a separate agreement.
- Where Equity Trustees are appointed without prior agreement being recorded in relation to fee arrangements, the commission and charges set out below will apply.
- Equity Trustees proposes to review its schedule of published fees later in 2010.
