Trudy is a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia. She has specialised in sophisticated business and personal estate planning for more than 25 years and obtained her Master of Laws degree. specialising in Estate Planning, Trusts, Taxation and Superannuation Law.
Trudy obtained a Bachelor of Laws degree from QUT and obtained a Master of Laws degree from UQ in 1996, specialising in Estate Planning, Trusts, Taxation and Superannuation Law. She is also a member of STEP (Succession Trust and Estate Practitioners), a worldwide professional body whose main focus is Trust and Succession Law.
Trudy is a respected authority, speaker and lecturer in the financial services industry and is able to combine a high level of flexibility to meet the challenges of today’s commercial, financial and legal environments.
Now, as the Solicitor in Equity Trustees’ Brisbane office, Trudy is able to continue her passion for all aspects of estate planning – which is essentially about protecting your family wealth for future generations.
Trudy advises clients on strategies to assist in the asset protection and tax minimisation of family wealth, as well as implementation of those strategies, including the preparation of sophisticated testamentary trust wills and enduring powers of attorney.
